Can't attend the National Latino Children's Literature Conference? Want to support the celebration of Latino Children's Literature? Please consider donating to our support fund. The National Latino Children's Literature Conference is a nonprofit event that needs your help to continue our celebration each year. Donations are used for booking Latino authors and illustrators, and to purchase Latino author-specific books to give to children during our free Noche de Cuentos event. Registration Information

Both mail-in and online registration are available for the 2012 National Latino Children's Literature Conference. But, registration is limited for this premier event.

To register online, please complete  the registration form below and submit electronically. After you have completed the registration form, then you can pay online with a credit card or Paypal using the "pay now" button on this screen. You do not need to be a member of Paypal to pay online.

To register via mail, please print this page and mail-in with a check (made payable to "University of Alabama" with "Latino Child Lit Conf" in the notes section) to the address at the bottom of this page.
 
Conference attendees wishing to register AFTER March 19th, 2012, will need to register onsite. Onsite registration will only accept cash or checks payable to "University of Alabama." Credit or debit cards will not be accepted onsite. Currently enrolled UA students wishing to register for the conference should contact conference chair Jamie Naidoo (jcnaidoo@slis.ua.edu) for special pricing of $20.

All conference attendees can attend sessions and keynotes for the days they are registered.  Food is provided with your registration. Two -Day Registration Includes: Thursday afternoon Fruit and Cookie Snack and Friday Lunch Buffet. Friday Only Registration includes Lunch Buffet. Free breakfast is available at the conference hotel. Thursday lunch is on your own.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration prior to March 19th, your registration fee minus a $15 handling charge will be refunded. No refunds will be made if notification is received after the conference has begun. Requests for registration refunds must be made in writing to:
